Netizen shares video of another LRT1 train running with door open

Another train of the Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT1) that ran with one of its doors open has gone viral.

YouScooper Jason Ibe shared a video of his "achieved bucket list" on Facebook.

Ibe told YouScoop that he took the footage after fellow passengers yelled that one of the doors was open. The incident happened shortly after 7 p.m.

The train was travelling from Vito Cruz Station bound for Quirino station.

Ibe said LRT1 staff were able to close the door when the train arrived at the Quirino station. The door, however, would not open when they reached Balintawak Station.

No one was hurt.

A similar incident at the LRT1 also went viral last year.

YouScooper James Cubelo, 19, a graduating student of the Technological University of the Philippines, took a video of the incident in March 2016 and posted it on his Facebook account. —ALG, GMA News
