MRT unloads passengers for 2nd time in a day

For the second time on Tuesday, the Metro Rail Transit (MRT3) unloaded passengers due to a "technical problem."

An advisory was issued at 8:37 p.m., saying that the passengers were unloaded at Santolan Station (northbound).

Two hours before this incident, some 800 passengers were also forced to disembark at Cubao Station due to "electrical failure."

The MRT3's record for most passenger unloadings due to technical problems within the period from January to October 2017 happened on September 16, 2017, with riders having to get off stalled trains eight times on that day.
