Fire hits Alabang residential area

Despite the inclement weather, a residential area in Alabang, Muntinlupa City was hit by fire on Tuesday morning.

The fire of yet undetermined origin broke out at Purok Uno, Mendiola Street.

It reached the first alarm at 8:04 a.m. and third alarm around 8:23 a.m. according to an interview with Muntinlupa Bureau of Fire Protection Fire Officer 2 Jomar Camacho on Super Radyo dzBB.

The fire was declared out at 9:24 a.m.

Authorities said at least 11 houses were gutted by the fire. No one was reported hurt. —Marlly Rome Bondoc/ALG, GMA News
