LRT1 ops disrupted due to air compressor problem

Operations of the Light Rail Transit Line 1 were disrupted on Wednesday morning, according to a report on Dobol B sa News TV by Mao dela Cruz.

The disruption occurred at 7:35 a.m. at the Libertad Station northbound.

LRT1 operations director Engr. Rod Bulario said the problem was traced to an air compressor which is responsible for the opening of the train's doors.

Management said they were able to fix the problem immediately, and train operations resumed after 10 minutes. Passengers were not unloaded when the problem was being fixed. —KG, GMA News
