Operation Greyhound at Manila City Jail yields metal, almost P150,000 in cash
Bureau of Jail Management and Penology’s Operation Greyhound at the Manila City Jail on Thursday yielded pieces of metal, money worth almost P150,000, sex toys, among other items, but no drugs, according to a report by Carlo Mateo on Dobol B sa News TV.

The money is reportedly used to support the families or medical expenses of one group among the city jail’s 5,687 inmates.

Also among the items confiscated during the operation are rusty nails, the metal covers of electric fans, metal pipes, gallons of vinegar, and electrical cords.
Superintendent Randel Latoza, the jail’s warden, said there has been nearly no incidents of violence due to Operation Greyhound.
