Cop nabbed in Pasig for indiscriminate gun firing

A policeman was apprehended on Sunday for alleged indiscriminate gun firing in Pasig City.

The suspect was identified as PO1 Arnold Gabriel Sabillo, assigned at Montalban Police Station.

According to a police report, elements of the Police Community Precinct 7 under the direction of Senior Superintendent Orlando Yebra were patrolling Amang Rodriguez Avenue in Brgy. Manggahan, Pasig City when they received a phone call about the indiscriminate firing Brgy. Santolan.

The team immediately went to the area and arrested Sabillo.

Recovered from him was a 9-mm Beretta with 11 live ammunition, while three spent cartridges were found at the scene.

The Pasig police are currently coordinating with local government officials and the homeowners association to determine if anyone was injured by the indiscriminate firing.
