Dashcam records UV robbery in Manila, suspects’ faces caught on video

Three suspected robbers were caught on dash cam video taking cellular phones and other valuables from their fellow passengers in a UV express van in Manila on Friday morning.

According to Cesar Apolinario's report on "24 Oras", the suspects boarded the vehicle separately.

One talked on the phone even though it didn't ring to apparently communicate to his companions that the robbery was a go.

The suspects went down together after taking what they could from the passengers.

The driver brought the victims to a nearby police station in Pasay City.

Pasay cops escorted the victims to the Manila Police District after it was determined that the vehicle was still in Manila when the robbery happened.

Manila and Pasay policemen are now coordinating to identify and arrest the suspects whose faces were clearly caught on camera. —NB, GMA News
