Flower prices in Dangwa more than double ahead of Valentine’s Day

Flower prices in Dangwa have increased by more than 100 percent with only three days left before Valentine's Day.

In a report on GMA's "24 Oras Weekend" on Sunday, prices of flowers in Dangwa increased by more than double:

• Roses - P800 per bundle (from P100 to P150)
• Carnation - P250 for 10 pieces (from P180)
• Stargazer - P200 per stem (from P130)
• Tulip - P150 to P200 per piece (from P85)
• Malaysian mums - P120 to P150 per bundle
• Pre-arranged flowers - P300 to P700

Prices of flowers in Baguio also noted an increase:

• Red roses - P600 to P700 per bundle (from P100)
• White roses - P400 per bundle (from P50)
