SM North EDSA tenant on stabbing incident: ‘We don’t tolerate unlawful act by our employee’
The employer of the suspect in a stabbing incident late Thursday at SM City North Edsa in Quezon City condemned its employee's alleged crime.
In a statement shared by SM City North Edsa in its Facebook page, PC Home Philippines said: "We would like to reiterate that we do not tolerate this kind of unlawful act by our employee."
The suspect identified as Leo Laab, head technician of PC Home Service Center, allegedly stabbed to death victim Geroldo Ramon Querijero after they had an altercation when the latter failed to present a receipt copy of his job order.
"The management of PCH is currently in coordination with proper authorities to solve this incident," the company said.
"We will be communicating with the victim's relatives to extend our help," it added.
Likewise, SM City North Edsa said the mall management, together with the tenant, is cooperating with the local police in the ongoing investigation.
"Rest assured all efforts are being done to continue in keeping the mall safe and secure at all times," it said. —KG, GMA News
