3 nabbed in apartelle drug bust in Quezon City

Police on Saturday arrested three people in a drug bust inside an apartelle in Quezon City.

A Balitanghali report said the main target of the Quezon City Police District's operation was Irish Domingo, who allegedly uses apartelles in the city as drug dens.

The report said Domingo was arrested in the act of selling shabu inside an apartelle unit along Yale Street in Cubao district at around 4:20 p.m.

Also arrested were Elaine Liabores and Romel Vantanilla, who were allegedly both caught using shabu inside the apartelle unit.

Seized during the operation were 13 sachets of suspected shabu and various drug paraphernalia.

Charges for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied against the three. —report from Bam Alegre/ALG, GMA News
