Philippine Basketball Association player Jeron Teng is out of the hospital after sustaining three deep stab wounds in a bar brawl in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig last Sunday.

Thomas Torres, who also sustained a lacerated muscle in the arm, is still undergoing treatment, according to an "Unang Balita" report.

His companion Norbert Torres was first discharged on Tuesday, and attended the inquest proceedings at Taguig City's fiscal office.

In his sworn statement, Teng said their group was harassed and insulted by the group of suspects Edmar Lacanlale and Williard Balisi outside a bar in BGC.

Minutes after, Teng said he saw his friend Torres injured and getting beaten.

When he tried to interfere, Teng said he was also punched and stabbed, as can be seen in some cellphone videos posted on social media.

Likewise, Torres said the same in his statement, and noted that four up to six men attacked him, and he saw Lacanlale and Balisi stabbing him using a ring knife.

Meanwhile, another companion of Teng Lorenzo Navarro  said he heard the group shouting the word "idol", then insults followed. When Torres confronted the group, he was punched, as well as Teng.

Teng is currently playing for the Alaska team in PBA.
