MRT3 southbound train unloads 850 passengers at Guadalupe station

Approximately 850 passengers were unloaded at the Guadalupe station of the Metro Rail Transit-3 at 7:53 a.m. on Tuesday due to an electrical failure in the motor of their train.

The MRT-3 Twitter account explained that the worn-out electrical sub-components of the motor of their train caused the electrical failure and the subsequent delay.

Passengers were loaded in the next train five minutes later while preventative maintenance and replacement of electrical components are being carried out. —Rie Takumi/KG, GMA News
