Floods hit NCR areas amid heavy monsoon rains
Heavy rains caused by the southwest monsoon caused flooding in some areas in Metro Manila on Tuesday morning, July 17.
In a video taken by radio dzBB's Allan Gatus, gutter-deep flood is seen in some parts of Panay Avenue in Quezon City.

Meanwhile, the area in Pasong Tamo corner Kalayaan Avenue in Makati City is flooded as well.

In Maki Pulido's tweets, a portion of Araneta Avenue going to SM Sta. Mesa and along Araneta Avenue before Maria Clara Street were likewise flooded.

Vehicles were seem traversing the floodwaters in España from Don Quixote Street to Lacson Avenue.

As of Tuesday morning, Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 1 was raised over Babuyan Island and parts of Ilocos Norte, while the rest of Luzon was experiencing heavy rains due to the southwest monsoon enhanced by Tropical Depression Henry. — Maia Tria/KBK, GMA News
