Couple in viral apprehension video apologizes to MMDA execs, constables

The husband-and-wife who figured in a lengthy verbal altercation with MMDA officers and constables have apologized.

The incident was caught on video, which has since gone viral.

The couple went to the MMDA office where they issued a public apology before the media.

"We would like to take this opportunity to apologize to the MMDA enforcers especially to Colonel Bong Nebrija and constable Azures," the wife said.

"We ask for your understanding on the matter as well as emotions got the better of us," he added.

According to Super Radyo dzBB, MMDA Task Force Special Operations commander Bong Nebrija said the agency will continue with the complaint for direct assault.

The wife, reportedly a prosecutor with the Department of Justice, reportedly hit the motorcycle of an MMDA constable during the altercation. —NB, GMA News
