MMDA taps NBI help to find girl dancing on EDSA in viral video

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority has tapped the National Bureau of Investigation for help in locating the girl who was caught on now-viral video dancing in the middle of Edsa traffic.

NBI Deputy Director Ferdinand Lavin told MMDA spokesperson Celine Pialago that they will use the "full force" of the NBI to identify and locate the woman who performed the popular "In My Feelings" challenge on the southbound lane of the Edsa Kamuning Flyover.

"Of course, government agency naman tayo pareho, we are under obligation to assist other government agencies," Lavin told Pialago in a phone conversation shared by the latter with the NBI official's consent.

The MMDA will summon the woman, who was seen dancing to Canadian rapper and singer Drake's new song "In My Feelings" while on the busy avenue's bus lane to cheering companions.

"Makikita mo nu'ng bumagal sila ng pagtakbo, lumaki ho 'yung space ng pagitan ng kanilang sasakyan doon sa unang sasakyan," Pialago said.

"Makikita niyo rin ho na may sasakyan na puti na kumanan. Kung hindi niya ho nakita 'yung dancer na sumayaw dito sa may EDSA, maaari niya hong nasagi. Maaari hong ikapahamak," she added.

The girl and her companions could be charged with obstruction, reckless driving and jaywalking, which are punishable by small fines, according to the report.
