Body of third boy who went missing in Valenzuela found in Tullahan River
Authorities have retrieved the body of the third child who went missing on Sunday afternoon after falling into the Tullahan River in Valenzuela.
According to rescue officer Lerissa Aquino of the Valenzuela disaster management office, the body was identified as that of 10-year-old Rheniel Tejadilla.
Aquino said the city's Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office received a report of a body in the river at 3:30 p.m. of Tuesday.
The authorities early Tuesday morning recovered from the river the bodies of Jillian Saud and Kerby Tejadilla, both 10-year-olds like Rheniel.
The three were reportedly playing on Sunday when they fell into the river and were swept away.
Typhoon Ompong brought heavy rain on parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila, on Saturday. —NB, GMA News
