Momoland’s Bboom Bboom fever hits Bilibid inmates
There's a new group of dancing inmates in town.
Detainees in the New Bilibid Prisons are not letting the famous Cebu dancing inmates have all the glory, busting out choreographed dance moves to the tune of the hit song "Bboom, Bboom" by Korean group Momoland during the NBP's 113th founding anniversary on Tuesday.
According to a report by Mav Gonzales on “24 Oras,” the dancing was part of the NBP's reformation program.
The Bilibid inmates spent one month in practicing the number.

Undersecretary Deo Marco of the Justice department said that the jolly mood of the dancers showed that the reformation program is effective.
“Pinapanood ko ang mukha ng bawat isa sa inyo at parang masaya kayo sa ginagawa n'yo. Magaling [ang] reformation dito,” Marco said at the event.
Ahead of the inmates' performance, Marco recognized the NBP's model officers and non-uniformed personnel.
"We have faced difficulties in decongesting our prison, having low morale, [stopping] illegal activities. We had to face challenges with budgetary constraints. But we made it work,” Marco added.
Bureau of Corrections' (BuCor) officer-in-charge Ramon Buenafe led the program since newly appointed BuCor Chief Nicanor Faeldon is yet to report for duty.
Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra earlier said that President Rodrigo Duterte already signed Faeldon's appointment papers. — Llanesca T. Panti/BM, GMA News
