Bernal added that the fire alarm went off and that they tried to put it out using a fire extinguisher.
They failed because the fire spread quickly to other rooms.
The Bureau of Fire Protection raised the second alarm.
The fire was finally put out at 5:30 a.m.
No one was hurt in the incident.
The BFP said a problem in electrical wiring may have caused the fire.
Damage was initially placed at P500,000. —BAP/KG, GMA News
