Plastics factory in Valenzuela gutted by fire; two people injured

Two people were hurt when fire broke out on Tuesday morning at a plastics factory in Valenzuela City, according to a report on News To Go.

The factory is located in Barangay Rincon.

The fire started at 8 a.m., according to a separate report by Maki Pulido on GMA News TV's Balitanghali.

It has reached the third alarm before it was declared under control at 11:03 a.m.

The fire did not spread to other establishments in the area because it was contained by the firewall of the factory.

Authorities are still investigating the incident and said that a discarded cigarette butt may have possibly caused the fire. —With Donabel Magsino/KG, GMA News
