1,000 families lose homes, 5 hurt in Mandaluyong inferno

At least 1,000 families lose their homes and five were hurt in a fire that razed  a residential area in Barangay Addition Hills in Mandaluyong City, according to reports by Glen Juego and Rod Vega on Super Radyo dzBB.

The fire started at around 4:20 p.m. at Block 22 extension of the barangay and reached the fifth alarm before being declared under control at around 9 p.m., according to the District Fire Marshal.

UPDATE: (As of 8:20 pm) Sunog sa isang residential area sa Brgy. Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City na umabot sa ikalimang alarma, kontrolado na; isang bumbero, sugatan.

Tinatayang 1,000 pamilya, apektado ng nangyaring sunog.
