Makati fire leaves 80-year-old man dead, destroys 4 houses
A fire of still undetermined origin hit a residential area in Makati City, leaving an old man dead on Thursday afternoon.
Super Radyo dzBB's Nimfa Ravelo identified the victim as Benesico Medina, 80, a resident at 6654 Tylo St. of Barangay Pio del Pilar.

An initial investigation should that the fire broke out at about 12:30 p.m. and was put out at 1:41 p.m. after reaching the second alarm.
Medina's relatives said they tried to rescue the old man but his room was locked.
Investigators said the fire destroyed four houses made of wood, and estimated the damage at P200,000. —LBG, GMA News
