P500k-worth suspected shabu seized in QC buy bust ops

Police have confiscated 70 grams of suspected shabu worth almost half a million pesos and arrested four individuals in a buy bust sting in a apartelle in Barangay Greater Fairview, Quezon City on Monday afternoon.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Alex Alberto, commander of the QCPD Station 3, said his men from the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Talipapa Police Station in coordination with SDEU operatives of the Fairview Police Station have cordoned off the vicinity of the said apartelle and immediately ordered P1,000 worth of shabu from the prime target of the operation identified as 36-year-old Jomar Usop.
Immediately after the transaction, the raiding team swooped into the compound and eventually arrested Usop inside the room.
Aside from Usop, his 19-year-old cohort Satar Bido was also arrested.
Harold Laroza, alias Bong, 36 years old, and Jhonalyn De Leon, 39 years old, both residents of Barangay Pasong Tamo were also apprehended.
Aside from the buy bust money that was earlier recovered, 70 grams of suspected shabu worth P500,000 and some drug paraphernalia were seized from the suspects.
All four suspects, who are now facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, are presently detained at the Talipapa Jail Facility In Novaliches. — BAP, GMA News
