1 dead after container van falls off truck in Manila warehouse

A truck driver died after being crushed by a container van that fell from a parked trailer truck in Paco, Manila on Sunday.

According to a report by Luisito Santos on Super Radyo dzBB, the incident happened while nine workers were unloading the items from the van inside a warehouse compound on Correa Street, Barangay 664.

One of the workers said that the van slowly tipped and fell on its side, crushing the 45-year-old victim, Rogelio Policarpio Jr., who was beside the van.

The personnel inside the van, on the other hand, sustained only minor injuries.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident. — Dona Magsino/BM, GMA News
