Flooded areas in Metro Manila on Monday, Sept. 16, 2019


Rains from the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) caused flooding in some parts of Metro Manila on Monday, Sept. 16, 2019.

Below is a list of flooded areas as reported by GMA News and Super Radyo dzBB reporters, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, and local government units:

Manila:

  • Roxas Boulevard corner Pedro Gil Street: gutter deep as of 7:15 a.m.

 

 

 

 

  • Roxas Boulevard corner T.M. Kalaw Street: gutter deep as of 7:15 a.m.
  • P. Burgos Street: gutter deep as of 7:15 a.m.
  • Taft Avenue near United Nations Avenue: gutter deep
  • Quirino Avenue: gutter-deep
  • United Nations Avenue in front of NBI-Manila and WHO office: gutter deep as of 8:30 a.m.

 

 

 

  • Quezon Boulevard, Sta. Cruz in front of Central Market: gutter deep as of 7:15 a.m.

 

 

Mandaluyong:

  • Addition Hills Fabella Popcom: ground to ankle (Code A) as of 6:30 a.m.
  • New Zaniga Boni-F. Ortigas: ground to ankle (Code A) as of 6:30 a.m.

Quezon City:

  • EDSA-P. Tuazon tunnel southbound: 8 inches as of 7:16 a.m.; passable to all types of vehicles; flood has subsided as of 7:54 a.m.
