Senior high student dies after falling from QC mall's 5th floor

A senior high school student died after falling off an escalator on the fifth floor of a shopping mall in Quezon City on Saturday.

Super Radyo dzBB reports from Divine Reyes and Luisito Santos said the student fell at around 5:37 p.m.

The teenager, a student of San Francisco High School, was still rushed to the QC General Hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

The Quezon City Police District's Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit is already probing the incident to determine if foul play was involved.

The mall management has yet to issue a statement on the incident. — MDM, GMA News
