SLEX-East Service Road one-way scheme affects income of tricycle drivers in Alabang
Tricycle drivers in Barangay Alabang, Muntinlupa City complained that their income has been affected by the recently-implemented one-way traffic scheme on South Luzon Expressway (SLEX)-East Service Road.
According to Jonathan Andal's report in GMA News' Unang Balita, the tricycle drivers said they used to take the said road in ferrying passengers to Starmall, Festival Mall, and the public market.
They lamented that they cannot make the same trips anymore with the new traffic scheme in place.

Manila Toll Expressway Systems, Inc., the operator of SLEX, announced that effective at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, the East Service Road will be used only by northbound motorists from Alabang to Sucat Interchange.
Vehicles bound for Alabang may take the West Service Road or the SLEX Sucat Entry southbound toll plaza.
The SLEX operator also transferred on Tuesday night the Alabang northbound entry toll plaza to the area under the Skyway on-ramp near Amkor Anam.
As of 7 a.m., traffic flow was snail-paced at the East Service Road.
The ongoing construction of the Skyway 3 extension project was also seen to have caused a bottleneck in the area.
