Makati fire renders 72 families homeless
A fire hit a residential-commercial area in Makati City on Tuesday morning.
According to a report by Mao Dela Cruz on Dobol B sa News TV aired over GMA News TV, the fire started at a house in Barangay Tejeros around 7:35 a.m.
The fire reached the fourth alarm before it was declared under control at 9:47 a.m.

A total of 18 houses were gutted down, leaving around 72 families homeless.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
Barangay Councilor Josephine Leonardo said the local government will set up tents along Varona Street to accommodate the affected residents.
The nearby Holy Cross Parish also served as a temporary refuge for the distressed fire victims.
