Over 10 vehicles crash as tanker leaves oil trail along QC road

Over 10 drivers lost control of their vehicles and crashed on Saturday after they drove over a trail of oil left by a tanker.

According to a 24 Oras Weekend report by Athena Imperial, CCTV cameras captured how a tanker leaked an oily trail behind as it drove along the Congressional Avenue Extension in Quezon City.

Shortly after the tanker passed, several vehicles slid uncontrollably down the road.

A motorcyclist was among those who crashed and was slightly injured in the mishap.

The incident led to a minor traffic jam which was eventually resolved after authorities cleaned up the slick. — Julia Mari Ornedo/DVM, GMA News
