DILG, NAPOLCOM suspend work for building disinfection

Work in the Department of the Interior and Local Government and National Police Commission central offices were suspended on Friday, March 13.

An advisory that was issued on the matter stated that the suspension of work was done for the disinfection of the entire building as part of the preventive measures against the 2019 coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

At present, the Department of Health said the confirmed cases of COVID-19 already reached 52.

On Thursday night, President Rodrigo Duterte placed Metro Manila under community quarantine following the continued increase of the cases. — BAP, GMA News
