Prayer room in Greenhills to open once tiangge resumes ops –Zamora
The Muslim prayer room in Greenhills Shopping Center will also be opened once "tiangge" stalls resume operations by next week, San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora said on Thursday.
He assured the public that the prayer room was already disinfected. At the onset of the pandemic, reports said the fifth COVID-19 case in the country frequented the place.
Zamora also said safety officers will control the number of individuals entering the Greenhills Shopping Center.
Once they see na overcrowded na, magstop silang magpapasok. Zamora said.
The city mayor reiterated that the mall management has modified the tiangge area’s layout by putting a two-meter distance in between stalls. Zamora also said a one-way walk flow marker was put up to ensure that physical distancing will be observed.
Zamora said.
According to Zamora, shops selling gadgets will also be opened aside from stalls selling clothes and pieces of jewelry.
"Yes, magbubukas na rin 'yun, 'yung gadgets, cellphones, computers, laptops... lahat 'yan that is part of the shopping area, hindi lang 'yung mga damit at jewelries, pati na rin 'yung gadgets natin," Zamora said.
