150 helmets, reflective gear distributed to cyclists in Manila
Two private groups and Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office distributed at least 150 helmets and reflective gear to cyclists in Manila on Thursday morning.
Batch 8 Brotherhood led by James Yu and Lions Club International District 301-A4 were joined by MDRRMO in the distribution of safety gear, according to a Twitter post of Super Radyo dzBB’s Isa Avendaño-Umali.
Manila DRRMO chief Arnel Angeles said the use of helmet is necessary for the safety of the cyclists especially now that using bikes is part of the ‘new normal’ amid limited transportation options.
