Pasig warehouse catches fire

A warehouse in Pasig City storing paint and crude oil was struck by fire on Sunday evening.

Initial details from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) indicate that the fire started past 7 p.m. at the warehouse located on Dela Paz Street in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, as reported on GMA Super Radyo DZBB.

The fourth alarm has been raised so far.

According to Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, the building on fire was the Roosevelt Chemical warehouse.

"Thankfully 0 casualties/injuries. High risk because chemicals but our firefighters responded quickly and managed it well," he said in a tweet. — Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/BM, GMA News
