Fire hits residential area in Sampaloc, Manila
A fire broke out in a residential area in Sampaloc, Manila on Sunday morning.
The fire started at a two-storey house on M.F. Jocson Street in Barangay 408, according to a report by Mao dela Cruz on Dobol B sa News TV.
It started at 5:45 a.m. and reached the second alarm before it was put out at 6:42 a.m.

Firemen said the fire quickly spread since the affected house was made of light materials.
The house of the barangay chairman beside it was also affected by the fire.
The Bureau of Fire Protection is still investigating the cause of the fire, but is looking at the possibility that a candle may have sparked the fire.
