Isko Moreno places 16 Manila barangays under a 4-day lockdown
Manila Mayor Isko Moreno on Sunday placed 16 more barangays under a four-day lockdown due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in the capital region.
In a Facebook post, Moreno said the following areas will be under lockdown starting Wednesday, March 24 at 12:01 a.m. until Saturday, March 27 at 11:59 p.m.:

- Barangay 109
- Barangay 184
- Barangay 192
- Barangay 209
- Barangay 296
- Barangay 493
- Barangay 515
- Barangay 586
- Barangay 636
- Barangay 669
- Barangay 790
- Barangay 883
- Barangay 875
Residents at these barangays have to stay home for the duration of the lockdown.
However, the following are allowed to leave their homes: healthcare workers; police and military personnel; government employees; service workers (pharmacies, drug stores, death care service establishments); barangay officials; media practitioners accredited by the Presidential Communications Operations Office and; Inter-Agency Task Force.
As of Sunday, Manila recorded 2,656 active cases of COVID-19.
Nationwide, COVID-19 cases reached 663,794 including 12,968 deaths, 577,754 recoveries and 73,072 active cases. — DVM, GMA News
