Food packs provided to 28 Taguig barangays amid ECQ
In light of the reimposition of the enhanced community quarantine, the local government of Taguig City provided its residents with food packs that will last for at least three days for each family.
A total of 28 barangays received "Stay at Home" food packs as Mayor Lino Cayetano vowed to provide assistance to Taguig residents so they will no longer go outside their residences during the one-week ECQ and the Lenten season.
“This week we need to stay safe. Dito po muna tayo sa piling ng mga mahal natin sa buhay, sa ating mga household, sa mga pamilya natin,” Cayetano said in a press release.

Cayetano said the food packs are good for three to four days for a family of five. These contain food items such as canned goods, rice, coffee and energy drinks, and a hygiene kit to ensure that recipients will be protected from COVID-19.
Meanwhile, the city is also preparing a vaccine portfolio that will ensure that each resident will be inoculated for free.
