QC ambulance carrying recovered COVID-19 patient hits concrete barrier

A Quezon City government ambulance that was carrying a recovered COVID-19 patient hit a concrete divider along Padre Burgos in Manila.

According to Carlo Mateo’s report on Super Radyo dzBB on Monday, the ambulance came from a quarantine facility from where it picked up the recovered patient to bring him home.

The driver reportedly did not see the concrete barrier.

A female passenger in the ambulance was hurt in the crash.

With emergency services on site, the recovered patient was transferred to another ambulance while the injured passenger was taken to hospital. — DVM, GMA News
