87 families affected in fire that hit Tramo, Pasay City

Eighty-seven families were affected when fire hit a residential area on Tramo Street in Pasay City on Monday night.

Sixteen houses were engulfed by the fire that started past 6 p.m. on F. Victor corner Tramo Street in Barangay 61, according to a report by Mai Bermudez on GMA News' Unang Balita on Tuesday.

Residents joined hands to pass on pails of water coming from firetrucks since the streets were too narrow for responding vehicles to pass through.

The residents also tried to save their pets and belongings as the fire raged.

The fire hit the third alarm before it was put out at around 9:46 p.m.

No one was hurt in the fire.

Affected residents temporarily sought shelter at the Epifanio delos Santos Elementary School and Pasay North Elementary School. —KG, GMA News
