NCR mayors agree to 8 p.m.–5 a.m. curfew during MECQ
All 17 mayors in National Capital Region have agreed to enforce a curfew from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. amid the modified enhanced community quarantine to be imposed in Metro Manila beginning Monday until the end of April, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said Sunday.
In a statement, MMDA chairman Benhur Abalos said the policy-making body Metro Manila Council (MMC) also agreed that authorized persons outside residence (APOR) are excluded from the curfew.
"Meanwhile, authorized persons outside residence (APOR) are still exempted from the curfew provided they show proof of identification or certificate of employment to authorities," Abalos said.
Metro Manila has been in enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) as part of the NCR Plus bubble, with curfew hours of 6 p.m. to 5 a.m.
