Ex-San Juan Mayor Guia Gomez gets COVID-19 anew, says son JV

Former San Juan Mayor Guia Gomez has again tested positive for COVID-19, her son former Senator JV Ejercito said on Friday night.

On Twitter, Ejercito asked for prayers for his mother.

“Please pray for my mother, who again has tested positive for COVID.  Hoping this time it will be milder,” Ejercito said.

“Walang katapusan,” he added. (There's no end.)

Gomez first tested positive for COVID-19 in 2020. She recovered in late December.

On April 13, former President Joseph Estrada tested positive for COVID-19.

He was brought to the intensive care unit (ICU) due to a lung infection.

Last week, former senator Jinggoy said Estrada would be transferred to a regular room. --NB, GMA News
