Fire hits houses in Barangay San Miguel, Pasig
A fire broke out in a residential area in Barangay San Miguel, Pasig City on Wednesday night, fire department said.
In a DZBB report from Glen Juego, a blanket of smoke engulfed Tambakan 2 Street as houses there caught fire at around 7:22 p.m.
After ten minutes, firefighters are still controlling the blaze, which is under second alarm.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection, the fire worsened as houses were made of light materials.

The fire was declared under control at 9:47 p.m. and was fully extinguished after more than two hours.
Fire investigators are still looking into the cause of the blaze.
On Facebook, Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto said the city government prepared evacuation sites for about 166 families affected in the fire.
"Malaki po ang sunog sa Tambakan 3 San Miguel. At the scene po ang mga bombero. (There is a big fire in Tambakan 3, San Miguel. Firefighters are at the scene.)
Pls pray. Update 930pm: Anticipated number of families affected: 166. Evacuation site ready," said Sotto.
According to a State of the Nation Address report, over 130 families were affected in the blaze. No casualties were reported.
On Twitter, Sotto said families were brought to the evacuation center in Pasig, where hot meals are prepared for them.
