Maynilad announces water service interruptions from June 7 to June 10, 2021
Customers of Maynilad Water Services, Inc. in parts of Makati, Pasay, Parañaque, Quezon City, and Valenzuela will have water service interruption from Monday, June 7 until Thursday, June 10.
In an advisory, Maynilad said Bangkal, Magallanes, Pio del Pilar, and San Isidro in Makati will have water interruptions starting 11 p.m. on Monday, June 7 to 7 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8.
Maynilad said this is due to the installation of a 1.3 feet diameter flowmeter at Arnaiz corner Manila South Diversion Road in Barangay Pio Del Pilar.
Meanwhile, Don Bosco, Marcelo Green Village, Merville, Moonwalk,
San Antonio, San Isidro, San Martin De Porres, and Sun Valley in Parañaque will have no water supply from 7 p.m. on June 7 until 7 a.m. on June 8.
Barangays 181 to 185 and Barangay 201 in Pasay City will also have water interruptions in the same period.
Maynilad said it will conduct repairs of a leak on the 3 feet diameter water pipeline along West Service Road as well as maintenance activities at Villamor Pumping Station in Barangay 183.
Meanwhile, some customers in Quezon City and Ugong, Valenzuela City will have no water supply starting at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 8 until 1 a.m. on Thursday, June 10.
Specific areas affected in Quezon City include Bagbag, Bagong Silangan, Batasan Hills, Commonwealth, Greater Fairview, Gulod, Holy Spirit, Nagkaisang Nayon, North Fairview, Payatas, San Bartolome, Santa Lucia, Santa Monica, Sauyo, and Talipapa.
Maynilad said it will temporarily shut down its North C Pumping Station and North C Annex in Quezon City to allow for a leak repair, as well as maintenance works at the said facilities.
It also said it will conduct the interconnection of newly installed water pipelines at Barangay Batasan Hills, Commonwealth and Payatas as well as the decommissioning of an existing water pipeline at Barangay Santa Lucia, Quezon City.
