MMDA: Dario Bridge U-turn slot closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. for traffic lights installation

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Wednesday announced that the U-turn slot on Dario Bridge in Quezon City along Edsa will be closed daily to motorists from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. as authorities install traffic lights in the area.

"For the safety of all motorists and to avoid possible accidents, the Dario Bridge U-turn slot in Quezon City will be closed daily from 10pm to 6am, pending the installation of the proposed traffic signal lights in the area," MMDA wrote on Facebook.

The said u-turn slot was opened to motorists on June 22 to address traffic congestion in the northbound lanes of Edsa, MMDA said.

Earlier, the MMDA said it is also eyeing to open more U-turn slots as increasing volume of vehicles cause traffic along Metro Manila's main thoroughfare.—Consuelo Marquez/LDF, GMA News
