Man who hit several vehicles in QC to Manila car chase released after posting bail
The motorist who crashed into several vehicles and injured a tricycle driver while in a car chase with police in July was already released.
According to Glen Juego's report on Super Radyo dzBB on Monday, Quezon City Police District Station 10 commander Police Lieutenant Colonel Alex Alberto said suspect Arvin Tan posted bail three weeks ago.
Back in July, Tan tried to escape policemen and roared off in his vehicle after he refused to pay his bills at a motel in Timog Avenue, Quezon City.
Police chased him to Morayta Street in Manila.
Before being caught, the suspect hit several vehicles, including two QCPD police cars, as well as a tricycle, injuring its driver.
Tan faced complaints for violation of Republic Act 10586 or Anti-Drunk Driving Law, damage to property, resisting arrest, disobedience to a person of authority, and estafa, all of which are bailable.
Alberto said Tan's driver's license will be suspended.
In 2017, Tan also fled cops and later arrested for taking a video at the Manila Police District of a witness in the death of hazing victim Horacio Castillo.—Ma. Angelica Garcia/AOL, GMA News
