PNP: Over 36,000 COVID-19 Alert Level 2 violators reported in NCR
A total of 36,736 COVID-19 Alert Level 2 violators were reported in the National Capital Region (NCR) since the alert was put in place on November 5, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said Tuesday.
Based on the PNP data as of Monday, an average of 9,184 individuals a day were caught violating COVID-19 health protocols. A total of 9,261 violators were reported on Monday.
Around 64% of the violators were given warnings, 34% were fined, while 3% faced other sanctions, according to the PNP.

A total of 34,149 violators, or 8,537 daily, violated minimum public health standards amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
A total of 2,587 curfew violators, or 647 daily, were reported in Metro Manila.
The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) placed the NCR on Alert Level 2 from November 5 until November 21, 2021.
Under an Alert Level 2, establishments would be allowed to operate indoors at 50% capacity with an additional 10% capacity if they have a safety seal. For outdoors, 70% is allowed. — BM, GMA News
