Over 42,000 violators reported in NCR amid Alert Level 2 —PNP
A total of 44,667 quarantine violators were recorded in the National Capital Region (NCR) since the implementation of Alert Level 2 on November 5, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Wednesday.
Based on the PNP data as of Tuesday, an average of 8,933 individuals a day were caught violating COVID-19 health protocols. A total of 7,931 violators were reported on Tuesday.
Around 63% of the violators were given warnings, 34% were fined, while 3% faced other sanctions.

A total of 42,080 violators, or 8,416 daily, violated minimum public health standards amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
A total of 2,587 curfew violators, or 517 daily, were reported in Metro Manila.
The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) placed the NCR on Alert Level 2 from November 5 until November 21, 2021.
Under an Alert Level 2, establishments would be allowed to operate indoors at 50% capacity with an additional 10% capacity if they have a safety seal. For outdoors, 70% is allowed. — BM, GMA News
