Number coding scheme suspended on Christmas, New Year holidays –MMDA
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Wednesday announced the suspension of the number coding scheme during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
In an advisory, the MMDA said the number coding scheme for provincial buses and private and public utility vehicles in Metro Manila will be suspended on the following dates:
- December 25, Saturday (Christmas Day)
- January 1, 2022, Saturday (New Year's Day)
Meanwhile, the MMDA said the number coding will also be suspended from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for Metro Manila buses, private vehicles, and PUVs on:
- December 24, Friday (Christmas Eve)
- December 30, Thursday (Rizal Day)
- December 31, Friday (New Year's Eve)
“Ibig sabihin, ang mga sasakyang may plakang nagtatapos sa 7 at 8 na sakop ng coding tuwing Huwebes (Rizal Day); at 9 at 0 na sakop ng coding tuwing Biyernes ay maaaring bumiyahe sa mga lansangan ng Metro Manila buong araw,” the MMDA said.
