Manila gov’t sets COVID-19 booster vaccination for delivery workers

The Manila government has set a "special" COVID-19 vaccination for the booster shot of delivery workers who are dropping goods to the city, Mayor Isko Moreno said Wednesday.

At a press conference, Moreno said delivery workers from Metro Manila, Central Luzon, northern Luzon, and southern Luzon who are dropping goods at Divisoria may avail the booster shot at 8 p.m. on Wednesday.

“Magkakaroon po tayo ng special vaccination para sa ating nagdadala ng pagkain sa Metro Manila na binabagsak sa Divisoria tuwing gabi,” he said.

(We will have a special vaccination for those who are delivering food in Metro that are being dropped in Divisoria every night.)

Moreno said the vaccination of delivery workers will be conducted in Juan Luna Street corner Recto Avenue in Divisoria.

For delivery riders in Metro Manila, Moreno said their vaccination for booster shots is set on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Kartilya ng Katipunan in Lawton.
