Pateros opens COVID-19 vaccine booster shot drive-thru site

The local government of Pateros has opened a COVID-19 vaccination drive-thru for booster shots that also accommodates non-residents, Mayor Miguel Ponce III said on Thursday.

At the Laging Handa public briefing, Ponce said the vaccination drive is open for 18 to 64 years old.

“Open po ito kahit hindi taga-Pateros. Sinimulan namin doon muna sa nabakunahan po ng first and second dose dito sa ating bayan,” he said.

(This is open even for those who are not from Pateros. For now, we start to inoculate those who received their first and second COVID-19 vaccine here in our town.)

They can register through scanning the QR code provided by the local government and wait to receive a schedule to avoid overcrowding and traffic at the vaccination site.

As of Wednesday, Pateros reported 135 active cases with nine new infections. —LBG, GMA News
