LRT2 Recto, Antipolo stations designated as COVID-19 vaccination sites

Two stations of the Light Rail Transit-Line 2 (LRT2) have been designated as COVID-19 vaccination sites starting Tuesday, February 22, the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) said.

Commuters may get the first dose and booster shots at the Recto station every Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and at Antipolo station every Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., the LRTA said in a press release.

Those interested may register online at manilacovid19vaccine.ph for Recto station vaccination, and at antipolobantaycovid.appcase.net for Antipolo.

Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade earlier said railway stations will be designated as vaccination sites as the government intensifies the vax drive. —KG, GMA News
