Cop under investigation for pointing gun at two civilians
A police officer is under investigation after he allegedly pointed his gun and threatened two civilians during a traffic incident in Taguig City.
According to National Capital Region Police Office chief Major General Felipe Natividad, one of the civilians had kicked the police officer's motorcycle.
The police officer then pointed his pistol at the civilians and ordered them to drop to the ground.
While the matter was later amicably settled, Natividad said his unit would never condone nor tolerate any form of unlawful conduct among its personnel.
“This however is not sufficient reason for a police officer to draw his weapon. Guaranteed that we shall investigate this extensively and should we find any violation of laws and policies, I shall personally ensure that the person liable will face the consequences of his actions,” Natividad said. — DVM, GMA News
